And what, precisely, was the point of smashing that shield?
Does their country have some kind of bias against shields or something?
At least in Lord and Vanadis, when a jerk-wad tried to destroy MC’s bow, it’s because their home country considers using the bow on the battlefield “cowardly.”
But here?
They’re just being ungrateful thugs because MC dared to protect Mr. High and Mighty Mage from an attack “against orders.”
