it was mentioned later that there was a person who was with him who probably died. They prolly shared the dream together of becoming plat adventures. Thats why hes being so stubborn about it because hes carrying on this will and dream of his friend.
I dbout this has anything to do with him being already dead, when they are talking about “visiting” someone.
