So the Count wasn’t sabotaging the MC with false accusations, the MC is really a 1 star… but his inherent skills are OP enough to make his talent absolutely meaningless. I wonder what are his limits… Cure Wounds 3 can’t be the limit for healing magic, right? If there are 5 levels of talent (at the very least), there should be at least the same levels of skill ranks, right?
I wish they would reject him for something that was wrong but still made a kind of sense, like having the wrong religion or parentage. This is both senseless and stupid. ‘You can cast more kinds of magic than any other magician here, your magical power is the strongest here, when you go head to head with a four star you easily beat him at the same magic he is trying to use, so clearly you are the weakest and your powers are useless’. It was trying for unfair or unjust, but the author chose retarded instead.
