First-off, I would demand a LOT more than that, were I put in that same situation. 20 years living expenses would start, the dissolution of the Family name would be a second perk, the termination of the fake son (Not a Sword Saint, more of a Demon Blade), and the Immediate execution of the Father. Also, get married, as fast as possible, and start a new family lineage.
I suppose my point of view wouldn’t count for much, I don’t understand men that well, but from a strictly logical and slightly maybe possibly vindictive vantage point, my solutions would serve the MC and his friends the best.
