You can’t overcome your deep fears, but you can still fight while you are afraid. Fear is necessary. As a guy who has some amateur fights and as any honest fighter will tell you, fear is always present. Only lunatics and psychos don’t feel fear. But as I said, you can still fight, and fighting in spite of fear, risking your shit knowing that you might lose or even die, lights the flames of the strongest fighting spirit. That can overcome traumas, but you have to remember just fighting is not enough. You also need to have the courage to think about trauma and process it internally, not just fight
