So… 
Well, I’m happy this is what we got, and things are back to normal again. Still, it would’ve been better not to introduce that whole mountain side-quest at all if it was just a half-a-chapter-long filler. I’ll assume the artist and team were given time constraints only after introducing the side quest, forcing them to wrap it up abruptly and focus on this. That’s how this industry works, unfortunately. 
I’m reminded of all the great stories that were axed completely, either left without an ending or forced into rushed, unsatisfactory endings. Thankfully, this isn’t going down that route. At least for now. 
Now, I can understand the previous chapter. Fighting spirit creature and that spirit cat + qi deviation is just filler that nothing will lose even if manhwa skip it. Better this way to be honest.
Is it just me or the art degraded a bit…
