A couple chapters ago, Kuma explored every island he later sent the Straw Hats to in the near future. This chapter, he meets Luffy whilst training who says, “I gotta be ready for when someone tries to take them away!” Kuma KNEW WHAT HE WAS DOING! Yes, He saved the Straw Hats in Sabaody we found out later on, but at the same time, that was his way of saying, “Get Better, Kozu!” He was “Itachi beating the shit out of Sasuke” in that moment!

WG is a reflection of our world. Publishing information to lead a narrative pushed for their interest (destroying an island and history information inconvenient to them), keeping enslaved in a fake free world (celestial dragons with basically total control) and creating enemies and threats to focus our attention in external factors (pirates) when is their evil doing (elders). Only difference is that our celestial dragons are smarter, they feel more relatable 🙂
