just now i realized Nika is a True God Fruit and once its awakens it will awake other god Fruits, this is for why Elder Saturn was worried when bonnie try to stretch like Luffy did, because Nika make other god fruit use awakens just by being close to them
Like I personal never did like the whole modern technology in a pirate ability show but I said wait let oda cook (because it was still unique like a snail phone that’s cool) but now hybrid clone cyborg with devil fruit powers huhh….Now you wanna drop this??? We spent years hyping up luffy being joy boy and being sun god Nika but to see Bonney just get gears 5. (Basically this same reaction I had when kid trunks transformed into super saiyan. Like we watch goku and vegeta give blood, sweat, and tears to obtain this. Then randomly a little kid with no training or combat experience just does it as child play smfh).
this damn arc went on for so long I forgot what bonney’s ability was
PLEASE SOMEONE MAKE ME LIKE THIS AS MUCH AS ALL OF YOU. btw this isnt sarcasm i love one piece been reading it for 2 years and fell in love, bought merch, defended it with my life and dubbed it the best anime but with this recent chapter i got dissapointed heavily and many people are saying that aters are unreaosnable so please someone make me reasonable becuase i want hope again i want to feel like oda has just wrote peak with this chapter so please tell me evrtyhing amazing about bnney becoming nika so i can actually be brought bakc in again you migth not be able to do that but if you are dont ignore my message. and by the way let me tell you what i dislike and do like about the bonney ordeal so you can have reference to make me see this in good light. What i like: this shows that anyone can be a liberator and that is beautiful. and bonney becoming a slave and becoming the person that frees slaves just makes this moment more amazing. What is dislike: Nika fruit felt perfect for luffy he is a liberator laughs a lot and is all around joyful. luffy felt like roger, nika and joyboy combined but now that bonney has the exact same power it feels less significant like yes it makes the message more beautiful but takes the message away from just luffy. i am glad that luffy is liberating others and making them free but i just cant see bonney as an orignal anymore she just feels like a genderbent luffy than her own charatcer. Things i see: i keep on seeing people say things like THIS IS AMAZING ODA YOU GENIUS. well i want to feel the exact same way i wnt to be like ODA YOU DAMN MASTERMIND but i aint feeling it i dont wanna lose hope in one piece and thats why i come to you to help me see the wonderful things about this moment. and please dont answer me by either insulting me, making me feel stupid and more please just be my savior and let me be happy with this chapter like all of you i wish i thought different about this. SO HELP ME CHANGE AND COMMENT EVERYTHING AMAZING AND TELL EM IT WILL BE OKAY

This is my own personal opinion and yes i understand bonneys devil fruit she can make herself have a future where she can do some stuff yada yada yada before i continue i love one piece like i recently caught up with the manga and i love it i wast too big on the pacing but it was ok and i also love gear 5 i just feel that luffy is the epitome of freedom and deserved his right to be joyboy and was a reincarnation and the true joyboy and the next heir and all that. after this chapter it all got broken down and its safe to say i am dissapointed i have been watching videos talking about it in a light way to calm myself but i cant move past this YES i knew this was coming it was going to happen but it just makes me wanna drop one piece and i cant its like having an argument with your girlfriend i cant break up with her cause of that.
again I UNDERSTAND BONNEYS DEVIL FRUIT. I UNDERSTAND HOW THIS IS HAPPENING i jsut dont know why it had to. i loved her as a character and i wished her devil fruit could have been more simple the thing is SHE DIDNT HAVE TO BE JOYBOY TO BE FREE. i know this statement was said a lot but GEAR 5 WAS LUFFYS THING imagine if you saw a hinata and naruto fighting and both were in baryon mode.
This just makes me not want bonney to join the crew becuase the monster trio ill be disbanded becuase its quite obvious that bonney is basically the strongest character.
she could just say gimme a hakish future and become way stronger than shanks or gimme a ruler of the worldish future and boom ruler of the world. SHE IS TOO BROKEN and this is not be being a power scaler and not liking that she is stronger than my favorites the problem is she is stronger than everyone. and CAN WE PLEASE STOP TREATING ODA LIKE SOME GOD he is not some perfect writer. i do belive he is one of the best writers but dang you guys treat him like he has made aboslutely no flaws throughout the story. can we actually start criticizing the stories i see people get blasted for saying their opinions and its getting out of hand.
continuing the conversation this chapter was garbage i just hope that oda finds a mastermind way to fix this all up before bonney finds the one piece first

It’s sad that people are disappointed by Bonney’s new look. I feel like its just a representation of how she has aspired for freedom like Nika but something was holding her back now she truly believes and feels free….. Honestly, Luffy has inspired me so much too, i want to be like him all smiles and freedom and if it were possible to look like him too not just in spirit but physically too , I would not think twice about it..
