The landlady is kind of a b!tch here. I mean, the dude was already living there, kept it clean etc. “screening” and all that is nonsense. She could wave that stuff easily, since it’s her place and she knows the tenant already. Is it because he’s not still banging her? I think it’s all excuses.
She could just take his money normally. She chose not to.

It will get worse for the Father. If and when those two get married. They doubtfully will invite the Father and perhaps not even the Mother. I am sure the Mother will be extremely upset. Especially if they have a baby and not tell them about it either. This is the beginning of the end for the Father.

the father is a jerk. The mom needs to do something. Call a lawyer.
