Oh shut up the former commander / antagonist breaks out of prison just as the MC gets emotionally blackmailed into going to the HQ lol
The author is in a mad rush, probably best given the sporadic uploads.
From the MCs POV I don’t really get why he went back so easily. Also he doesn’t seem to have a meaningful connection to his so called childhood friend. The whole situation is suspect.
