I’m going to be 100 % honest for a little bit. Reading this is depressing. My favorite thing to do when I read these is to attempt to immerse myself entirely into the story. I try to feel the emotions each character feels, I try to conceptualize their tone of voice when they talk, and their thoughts when they don’t.
Having said that, good God does this story send me on a roller coaster. The characters feel, think, and understand things in such unique and varied ways that it almost gives me whiplash trying to keep it all straight in my head. Jumping from the amusement of one character to the frustration of another, to shock, to anger, to amusement, to joy, to rage… it’s incredible. The amount of raw emotion that is almost tangible. That’s also why I say this is depressingly hard to read… sorrow, rage, despair, determination, deception, hatred, understanding, mourning, joy, love, anguish. It’s a fucking journey through each of these episodes, I’ll tell you what.
The final chapters are coming closer and closer🥲
