Well, I’ll be… Author really nailed the “love and hate” aspect perfectly.
Loving a person so irreplaceably much that it’s painful but also feeling so tormented by their anti-chemistry with you that you come to hate them simultaneously. And the cognitive dissonance from it at an intensity that practically destabilizes your psyche.
The lingering obsession and feelings of suffocation even after they’re gone is captured really well in Nino. Despite only showing up briefly in the two latest chapters, she really left a mark.
If each of the original B-Komachi members are this complex, the psychological aspects are about to elevate into the next level in this arc.
