hopefully Aqua will come to the rescue again. i really feel bad for the guy. especially when none of it was his fault. to get slam by the author you love about a work you try put so much passion in must be soul crushing. i can only imagine what it would be like if i had the chance to work some something i love, only to get obliterated over thing i have no control over.

Makes you think about the many adaptations of media that’ve gone south. Imagine the backstage stories that we never even hear about because these things just rarely surface into the public’s view.

That’s why they need to remove their agents managing such matters .
They need to arrange free time , discuss their views , add the missing things and use Google Collab like platforms which give both of you the access to what’s being written in modern age .
But it can’t be denied that these kind of things have been happening since pretty long .

Wouldn’t it make sense then for the scriptwriter to get the mangaka’s phone number or vice versa so they can collaborate on the script together? Get rid of the middle men.

Truly what’s worse is that its not even his fault tbh, just the one example of the first revisions and everyone getting in between them “telephone” wise. Poor dude did what he was told to his best ability. Love this manga showing the realities of the japanese entertainment industry
