I like Akane, especially her absolute devotion, but my reading experience tells me he won’t end with either at least not until much later anyway, if they don’t introduce more rivals and turn it into a harem…

I’m not saying this as a shipper. Seriously, I like both girls but honestly, I’m confused a bit with Akane’s character. Of course, she likes Aqua, but going along with your boyfriend’s plan of murder at the drop of a hat? That seems strange to me, even if that person may deserve it (yes I’ve been spoiled).
Interestingly enough, her character actually seems to be forming into a new role right now. The extreme ride or die. Am I the only one catching this? A ride or die sound nice in theory, but the reality of it is actually quite sad. They barely know each other, yet she would kill for him? What? Aqua was a decent person in his past life and is still a decent person now. Don’t support this behavior, girl lol. Just seems unhealthy.
Despite that, the panel and art were great for that moment. Just surprised me a bit to see her say that.
The director is such an O.G but that girlfriend of his is a literal ride or die. I’m full on team Akane now after this.
At the start of the chapter we finally found out the most import issue of the entire manga! We now know who was chopping onions guys!
I hate akane as a fl i like arima more.
Dammit it’s just chapter 52 and i already cried
