I get why Kana’s sad. They were close, then all of a sudden, they weren’t. Even way back when Kana was avoiding him, Aqua said that it hurts. Friends exist, dude lol. Just be friends again!! That said, I still feel like Aqua has some feelings for Kana for some reason but has no intention of causing her any harm as a friend, love interest, or idol. It’s similar to how Aqua feels about Ruby as he didn’t want to expose his revenge plan to her in hopes of protecting her, buuuut we all see how that played out.
