How can this MC be so good at everything after selling his soul but be so worthless prior to that?
Does this imply that the average reader is a good for nothing that just wait for a miracle to appear to start doing something?
And because the average reader is so bad, they made MC so bad at the start to link the reader easier (with sympathy) towards MC and the novel…
