I’m sorry, this is really getting dumb. The inconsistencies illogical world mechanics are far, far too many.
First of all, they said the reward for this quest was 150 million won. I don’t know where this freaking 1.5 million won came from all of a sudden. Even if we don’t assume that that’s the net, and just talking gross amount, at 30% (The level he undertook this quest at) That would come to 45 million won. Though, I’m pretty sure that they were talking net profit, since the MC said it would be enough to clear all their debt, which his sister earlier stated was over 100 million won.
Secondly, the management of SOSE stated that if he were to exchange the monetary reward for experience points, he would gain 8 levels in one go/ Not 2 levels, 8 LEVELS!
Thirdly, during the quest, they created a water-filled moat, started farm land within the city… Where did they get the water from in a desert? I mean, you can dig wells and find water if you’re lucky, but at best you could support the farm and provide water to the citizens; there would definitely not be enough water for a freaking moat. Do you know how fast standing water would evaporate in a desert? Even in a humid place it’s like an inch a week, which for something as large as a moat thousands of gallons. Actually, based on what I saw, I calculated that it would be 16,000 gallons a week on a very conservative side for the kind of moat they had, since it didn’t encircle the city. Times that by 3 for the desert though.About 50K gallons lost a week to evaporation. Ridiculous. They’d be out of water and dead in a month or less.
Fourth, during the mission, there was a never ending talk of being low on wood and supplies. Where did they get the supplies to extend the height of the castle wall, create siege equipment and arrows as well as a ton of weapons and shields, not to mention the traps, during the final stand? That giant pit trap alone would have taken all the resources they had, in order to build; forget the castle wall being raised by 3 meters and fortified.
Anyway, these are 4 of my main annoyances. There were others I can’t even remember now. I can look past the impossible nonsense with logistics, but my first 2 grievances are unforgivable. If you’re writing a story, at least keep track of your own plot. His rewards for the same quests change more often than the current in an AC motor.
