It’s actually very much possible. When I was a professional fighter and training I learned that imagining and practicing in your mind is almost as important as practicing IRL. Picture what you want to do and mentally practice scenarios. Then practice them in IRL and if your capable you’ll see that you can do what you imagined. (If is a thing that’s possible for humans anyway)
