Princess is a Thracian. I wonder if the inspiration came from actual Thracians, such as Maximinus who stood over 8ft 6inch tall.
To which there’s a great story of him awing the Roman Emporer, Severus, at the time with his stature. He was just a kid, 17 years old, and he wrestled over a dozen of the best Roman teenagers training to be soldiers one after the other knocking them down like they were nothing.
Thracians were basically Goths/Germans/North Western Europeans. So red hair isnt far off from actual true history as the Scotts and Irish etc came from that same fountain or tree branch of the European Race(s)
