This entire arc has been ridiculous trash not a bit of it made sense last 40chapters were a waste of time
Great dude, go find yourself away from home to protect your home, while your home falls apart, your children are raised by strangers, your comrades fending for themselves, while you could have found yourself at home, since i don’t know you have access to martial masters experts in internal and external arts that could have taken care of your metal qi, since they could have sense it’s properties. Oh well just cause a lot of good people to die cause the mc needed some hippie bs advice that, again he could have gotten at home, because if he was so desperate to do anything to get stronger and avoid becoming a beast, why not use that determination in the rational way? appealing to the masters you have at home? you extremely smart daughter first? Congrats author you had us invested in a story that was predictably stupid, and you didn’t even try to write your way out of it, you intentionally made a bad story. At least if you used some plot armor it would have been half saved, but now what’s done is done.
