I feel bad for the subordinates that was with those losers. It was clear that they were terrified, afraid and unwilling to just accept that their lives will end then and there without truly trying, watching their rulers have a feast being satisfied with just ending it all, because all pf the method they knew to save the world didn’t work.
I understand that accepting something inevitable, such as death, will be a part of our lives at some point. But I also understand that trying some things and trying everything is two different things. They said they tried every method that they know of, but that bullshit of a saint didn’t even tell them the prophecy that the goddess gave them, a chance, a new method, something that they’ve never done before. So no, I don’t agree with them just ending it all because they’ve tried everything. Even now, when they regressed to the past, they’re stopping the princess from saving their world. They’ve become the force that will lead their world to ruins, which is sad in a way, but they deserved it.
Again, sad for the monster subordinates, wish they had a say as well for their own future.

Looks like Townia, which has the same S-Rank difficulty as Niflheim (c36), also doesn’t have any 5* pull, because most of its residents gave up and got cursed.
So this is why only Asynis Family, who fought until the very end, appeared as an ally (c166)

So we still don’t know what destroyed their world. Right now, they’re still fighting the residents of Townia who gave up.
“Noble heroes”… bandits, pirates, mercenaries, beastmen, farmers, citizens, thieves, murderers, assassins, soldiers – nothing especially noble about them. They are all just fighting to survive.
I didn’t expect this. Priasis was metal 🔥🔥. They deserved it – enjoying a final banquet as their last “honor” while soldiers are still out there fighting.

So basically, heroes sent to the lobbies were heroes who either didn’t want to end it all or didn’t even know that their world is heading towards doom. But the Mark guy that was publicly executed knew something about the end of townia, so it’s still a bit confusing to me. But my speculation above explains why nobody from those factions/kingdoms/families were ever sent. Except for Nerissa who were part of Halgion, but directly served Friya/Pria, and Kishasha, descendant of the sea king, but didn’t agree with just ending it all, and still tried their best fighting for her tribe (you can read this from the chapter where they first appeared to the series), there were others probably, but I’m not getting into detail with those anymore. I’m still confused about some things, and might get some things wrong since I refuse to read spoilers. So this are all just assumptions based on what I’ve read and understood so far
