Pick Me Up, Infinite Gacha - Chapter 37
Comments for chapter "Chapter 37"
Can’t blame the master for being a casual player
they keep praising mc for being so smart but hes now actively picking a fight with the 2 people who can kill him at any second with absolutely no effort? attacking the level 999 co-owner multiple times and then destroying the gift (from a hard to get event ticket) that was given to him by the master are the 2 stupidest moves he couldve made there but sure this guys a “genius strategist”
Honestly ignoring how crappy the game is I really do get Prime Ysel. If you’re watching MILLIONS of ppl fail to save the worlds connected to yours, I’m batting against all the odds and going all in on the one dude who has literal HEROES hunting to find and protect him.
Well, tbh that explanation was a complete hogwash, IMO. Like, how is this mega corp from earth able to connect to so many other dimensions? How does it have power to alter the fate? Why does it have to be a tower? Why are they pulling humans without their consent? Why does it a higher dimensional observer to alter the outcomes? Why does some company care about alters fate of any other dimensions?
I know I am asking these questions in advanced. But the explanation given by that CEO lady makes no damn sense in face of these questions. If a master influences the end result of a dimension, then why not let him finish Niflheim then meet him on Earth & explain the situation there & seek his co-operation like that?
how mobius is a major company with such shitty rng game ? well my theory is cuz they can implement alot of tech into games through fantasy elements of the other world that noone somehow didn’t question and the only one was “Loki”
( it’s like solo leveling if you think about stuff make no sense and yet somehow it’s peak )
There’s a disconnect between what the Tower Master and we, the readers, saw of Loki’s behavior. She saw him be empathetic/understanding of his characters we saw him sacrifice what he thought was trash mobs just to learn boss patterns. Even now he sees people through a utilitarian lens, I really can’t call him a good person; an effective leader, debatably, but definitely selfish and self-serving.
Please prove me wrong, truly.
I don’t get one thing, how the hell can his heroes feel bad about his comments (the b*tch’s comment) when he lost pretty much ALL his teams on lvl 80 and then the b*tch herself killed his best party on lvl 88. Like who is left? Two strategists we saw and some support characters like carpenters?
Main character thinks the “master” is a salaryman or something of that like because they play three times a day, but it could easily also just be a child. Before school, during lunch, after school. And instead of having disposable income and no free time from working all the time as a salaryman, they could just beg their parents for money. So what we think is an idiot salary man who doesn’t know strategy or empathy, could easily just be a child who doesn’t know enough to even think of those things.
I love that the “Master” is just a idiot. That makes the whole story better.
I don’t understand what the CEO of mobius is trying to do. Obviously MCs strategic genius is off the charts, so why would you bring them into the game where he cant use all of his gifts? Assuming her aim is really for someone to conquer the tower and save the dimensions that is. I mean even if she needed his tactical talents, why assign him to a noob instead of someone with at least some level of strategic awareness to use those capabilities? He could be subject to synthesis and waste those talents. Should have just left him as is with his team on level 88. Unless conquering the tower is not really intended. If Han realizes this, no wonder he was so pissed.
The MC is so stupid. In the first chapters he was angry at other people not giving their all to grab an opportunity when they had one. He now has an opportunity to get back to earth AND get rich, but he has to provoke his only chance for that opportunity. His master is trying to raise his relationship with him and he just spits in his face destroying his gift. What if both his master and that ceo bitch just said “ok, fuck you back” and kill him? He is thinking that he can manipulate his master and climb without the help of the ceo…. almost like he thinks “i’m so good”. Ironic, isn’t it. Intentionally taking on critical and vital risks is being as stupid as humanly possible. A top 5 ranker in a 100 mil game is 100% many many levels above that. His personality is so badly written…. ugh! why can’t author stop making their mc’s literally suicidally retarded ?
I Blees this MESS! HO!HO!
if anything, he was being fair to her
ngl the mc was wayyyyy too arrogant in the last chapters when talking with that woman. she couldve easily killed him at any time and he deliberately provoked her multiple times. thats not being brave, thats being stupid.

i know this is supposed to be hell mode type but only getting one star makes me want to take a break im gunna read the most recent chapter to see how long they hope this story will strech and be back in about a week
