I figured he was going to get a weapon to grow with him, because just showing up with some god tier weapon out of nowhere raises too many questions.
That said, I would love for a game to have a crafting system that allowed some absolute insane stuff to be done and created and relying purely on nothing but personal skill. Take “chance” out of it completely, make it as difficult as possible and just have it rely on skill.
