Something tells me there’s more going on with the MC. We’re seeing everything from his viewpoint but he’s a super unreliable narrator. We don’t know if he’s been drugged, or if he’s just crazy, but either way, we can’t trust everything he sees to be real. Were the tourists even real to begin with? If they were, did he really find their clothes? And if he did, who actually killed them? It could be our MC for all we know. He could have had an episode chasing the ghost kid and killed them while hallucinating.
