I know, I know, rule of cool and MC’s plot armor and all that, but still, let me quote the seventh Evil Overlord Rule:
When I’ve captured my adversary and he says, “Look, before you kill me, will you at least tell me what this is all about?” I’ll say, “No.” and shoot him. No, on second thought I’ll shoot him then say “No.”
And here, nobody even asked! If MC doesn’t kill the jap here, yapping will bite him in the ass so hard. Or rather, would, as of course he’s killing him…
Also, mana spent on intel is never wasted. MC really should’ve tried to listen to the god, maybe even fish for some more info.
I was starting to get worried that the World Ranker had no real skill, but at least he didn’t disappoint. Too bad he can only summon a God for just 1 minute
