I can’t really say I like this so far, the bullying gets too meanspirited in my opinion. Once you get to the point of bringing them to tears like this, its usually too far. But she’s done this twice in a row now, on purpose too. If the whole series is gonna be like this then I might drop it.
I’ve met people who were at least similar to the mc. Though they were incredibly sheltered so they couldn’t really handle pressures like that. Granted I was pretty sheltered too but I had also somehow manage to reach a point very early on in my life where I just stopped giving a fuck about things. I found it was much easier if I just stopped caring.
Still though, the MC must have either been incredibly sheltered or never been given proper self esteem guidance from adults. Though not everyone is as lucky to get the guidance that some of us got.
