I had to reread that to know what that one guy was squalling at the little girl about. As best I can tell it was when she made a noise and the monsters heard it. It was not when she bellowed out how to defeat them.
The author kinda needs to make that like a club and beat some readers with it. It’s somewhat subtle to me even with the review.

i feel like only the legs organs and head would be edible on those maybe the ribs but everything else would be way to tough
