This is almost comical (it is a manga anyway 
). The reality is, even without borders and sharing of wealth & technology, people will still cannot 100% make food shortages disappear. Sure we can mitigate or lessen the food shortages, but it must be on par what resources are available & managed properly.
This also not mentioning of the socio-economy between countries which are already in place & been running for decades that can make a country going into civil war when another country or countries are secretly running a silent propaganda to destabilize other countries as well.
