I miss when this manga was about an alien trooper fighting back against toku ‘heroes’. This series has got so incredibly convoluted that it barely resembles the original pitch, and not in a good way like how the Golden Age arc started adding a tonne of what makes Berserk fantastic after the more standard Black Swordsman arc. This whole series is just characters saying ‘you thought BLANK was real? Hah, observe my secret plans!’ only for that to get overwritten by someone else’s secret plans 30 chapters later.
