Hades is often referred to as the god of the dead not death. Hes more like a manager of souls/dead hence doesnt do the killing in a sense
The god of Death would be Thanatos who somehow does all the killing then leaves dealing with the dead souls to hades.
Still hating on that hades got the most raw deal out of every olympian, probably the most reasonably and chill out of all of them. The most sus thing he probably ever did was marrying his own niece (persophone) but incest was a very normal thing for the greek gods for some reason.

If I’m not wrong Tartarus is a primordial titan, si technically he’s a god in the tower. The cyclops, hecatonchire and titans were imprisoned in it. Cause of Ouroboros, fearing his kids and Chronos who betrayed and feared his brothers and sisters. Chronos somehow was like his father, and by fear eated his children. His wife and sister Rhea, exchanged Zeus by a rock making Chronos believe he swallowed another baby god. Rhea took the Lil Z, and put him in his grand mother or grand grand mother, you choose, Gaia, a primordial titan. When he was ready he freed all his family in the Tartarus and began the titanomachia. After his win against Chronos, he freed all the gods that were swallowed (they grew in his belly), like poséidon or hades. Hera too if I’m not mistaken. After that he betrayed his promises, and re imprisoned all the non-god in the Tartarus. After that came the gigantomachia… So if you see an error excuse me, I am learning English, same if I did make an error about the mythology. It’s so hard to understand and remember everything.
