The difference between levels is quite big considering how this MC effortlessly killed multiple people who were just 1 single level below him; usually in the early stages of a story the difference in power between levels is not exceedingly huge, meaning a few people at a certain level should be able to resist/defeat/kill someone 1 or 2 levels above them, because at early stages numbers have a higher advantage over a single stronger opponent. Apparently this isn’t the case here.
Of course, MCs are usually able to kill people several levels above them, but this MC specifically chose Demonic Cultivation as his talent was low, meaning he would probably lose against someone 1 or 2 levels above, or even talented people at the same level, if not 1 or 2 levels lower.
Perhaps Demonic Cultivators have overall higher power at the same stage at the cost of instability or some sort of backlash.
There isn’t enough information about the disparity in levels yet or differences between “orthodox” and “demonic” techniques, perhaps it’ll be axplained in the future
I’m super pissed at Mangaread tbh, I made a revised Review on the Homepage of this Manhua, but it got stalled cuz it must’ve gotten picked up by Mangareads auto moderation. If was a more refined version of my current Review, if it had gotten pass, I would’ve deleted the first one. But no, my 2nd Better Version Review got deleted by Mangaread. 🤦♂️ So I couldn’t delete the 1st one. And now it’s gotten targeted by that prick mortanius. I hate how Mangaread even if you have an account, they don’t let you edit your comments. And they even delete your comments if it triggers automoderation. So you have to delete your comments if you want to edit it, just make a new comment. What bullsh1t. 😤
Aside from that, I’m seriously loving this Manhua! Especially MC’s Power, Insects and Bugs, very unique, first time I’ve seen this. Reminds me of “An Awesome Power” where he controls spirits and stuff. I hope this Manhua explores MC’s previous life on earth, maybe he has a Family or Friends or a Girlfriend. Would love to see him Dominate and Conquer Earth. What I love about this Character is that he’s not completely evil, if possible, he wouldn’t even have joined the Wuji Demon Cult if he could’ve easily become an Immortal through the Orthodox Paths. So I hope MC especially on Earth, can recruit and show mercy towards the Earthlings, what he was once before. Not just be a villainous killing machine. I’m very excited to see more, hope for a mass release.
In cultivation Mystic Realms are normally a demi plane where you loot as much as you can before gettin yeeted back, having a zombie apocalypse world on speed dial is interesting.
So he could go back and forth but it has a cool down.. I see.
