I feel like if he keeps interfering with the timeline his original self might end up changing from how he was. Possibly in a way that isn’t good.
Would be cool if the final antagonist to a time travel story like this is his past self, stripped of all the good parts of his life by his future self in someone else’s body. Becoming a bastard.
