I hope he gets beaten really badly as a lesson for being stupid and arrogant.
Basically, his strategy is “No one else has access to proper martial arts and ki, so I can beat anyone.” It’s really unbalanced because even if other warriors work out ki on their own (which takes forever), they have none of the powerful structured martial arts that exist in his master’s world.
He’s got a ridiculous advantage over every other warrior just by learning some form of proper martial arts.
