Honestly, Yulian being a self-absorbed selfish brat is getting really annoying. All the great warriors have been favouring him so far, and this is the result: complete lack of discipline.
Does Yulian think he’s the only person who has lost people he loves in this war and wants revenge on a tribe or person (btw: is he actually just blaming the enemy general for his tribe’s losses)? Everybody else obeys orders so why does just his revenge get precedence? There’s no excuse. And this is also why he’s a terrible leader.
Considering the tribes were at war when Yulian’s mother died, he should suck it up. That is exactly what you expect in a war and his own tribe’s attacks will have definitely killed civilians too. What do you expect when these oases are where people live and where all the battles are fought?
