I like how it keeps you on the fence about everyone. There’s no clear favourite you want to side with so far (other than the MC). I mean, sure, his buddy with the shield is a good guy, but he’s sort of like a necessary plot device, he’s there to fight and there’s not much to him.

He sort of comes as a bundle with the MC, there’s literally no reason to dislike him so far. As for everyone else, they all have their own agendas, and are scheming, but it’s hard to pick a favourite.

The leader of the camp; there’s little to say about him, I think he’s also a plot device. It wouldn’t make much sense for the MC to be the leader from the get go, so he’s the leader in his stead, he’s also a glass of water.

It’s mainly the women that all the focus is on. (I suck with Korean names, so I just describe character.) As for the milquetoast girl, I don’t think she’s inherently bad like people keep saying, I just think she HAS to have someone to rely on, and needs them to be beside them at all times. As for freckles, I reckon she’ll die, she’s not too likeable & there’s little to her. As for the girl the MC kissed, she’s definitely the most stable out of them, and will probably end up genuinely getting really close to the MC.

That’s what I like about this. There’s no clear favourite, it keeps you guessing, and anybody could die at any point. If the leader dies, the MC will likely take over, because of how strong his friend is & how much he supports him.
