This dude has a scouting skill but he doesnt go with the regressor. Kinda dumb
anyone else though he would use minds eye more thoroughly, like for recruiting, finding future stars, or enemies. It would kind of be like this kid right?(image) (but no, well, the story is still good, and I guess it is not very cliche so)

Why does the author make the MC dumb whenever he/she needs to? He has MIND’S EYE!!! He should be going with him to scout for potential hidden gems. However, it’s clear that there is someone the regressor knows of that he needs to give a position in the party.

sure the regressor would know of people that were famous in his first life but the MC can find ones that died early but talented..
It is so well done. It is complex, yet not overwhelming. The main character reminds me of Cale from “Loat of the Count’s Family”. He says he will be a leach, but actually puts in a good portion of talking in things. Unless something really dramatic happens making him a complete bastard, I believe the story goes to slowly improve his conniving base. I love stories like this.
