I just realized that the reason I’m fascinated about reading poorly translated material is because of all the 70’s TV shows that are called racist these days by their portrayals of foreigners attempting to speak “Engrish”.
This is that.
Now that I’ve deciphered that quirk of myself l can finally move onto other psychic anomalies, like, why do I like the heels on loaves of bread best? Is it really necessary to touch each object 32 times to remember it? Why does lunch mean soup and sandwiches to me?
Of the three examples given, only one is true.
