Rosel is handled a bit different in the LN as well. His father is *way* more insulting directly towards him, and he doesn’t teach himself to read from his mother reading him a story, Ritsu teaches him the alphabet and he learns it in less than a day. The bed wetting is much more of an issue, causing him to threaten to “cut off his weenie” because of it… The brothers are forgotten almost immediately and it’s Rosel himself who has a problem with overhunting and families sus being hunted, not his father. The changes the manga makes feel a lot nicer
