That is very naive and irresponsible thoughts. In the world of Demon King awakening there is no way for a person with such skills to live peacefully in some remote village. Even if he is ready to neglect his duty and let people to die, he is still one of the main characters in the story, so the game engine a.k.a. fate will force him to act.

I would have liekd if Len told them about his skill. Many stories are like this, must keep my skill hidden blah blah blah. At least trust in your parents if it. They clearly care deeply about him and i’m sure they wouldn’t have mentioned it to anyone. Plus would have done more to help him to devolop it. All in all, i want more.

I love that he levels up, but he’s still a boy, so he can impress his papa, but not immediately overpower him. Restraint leaves room for the story to develop and the MC to face challenges. Very exciting
