I kinda wanna know the cause of the Mc’s first death,
right now my only guess is a Tsunami because I can’t think of another reason his school ended up in water that looked deep and dark enough to be the ocean

Makes me wonder if he IS the “spider” (maybe a human-faced-spider or something?) and absorbed the level and memories of the people it ate. Just took a long time to awaken as a thinking being.
