As much as I like the story, its a bad style to come up with good deeds the protagonist has done without to participate the reader. It feels like he is pulling out another rabbit out of the hat.

after 1 interaction former owner of mc’s body has had his reputation raised and also dealt with the overcharging beggar.
but, mc didn’t even need his name cleared and it would have been more interesting to solve the problem a different way
so what’s the point? random power ups mid boss fight make more sense bcuz at least there’s a good reason it happened (to beat the boss, vs this being just to not overpay)
Of course, how could we live without a brothel scene and prostitutes?
At least sometimes it makes sense but here it’s just a completely unnecessary element.
