okay, if they were apparitions then it would make sense, but if he was dreaming, then thing about his name being his masters’ supposed name for their dead son was kinda messed up. He dreamt that his name actually has meaning just to push him deeper with depression.

when did he get lighting magic that’s not even remotely close to a barrier, also obligatory small talking animal companion.
