Now that I think about it, why even bother learning magic…?
Yeah, it’s useful, but the MC’s premise is that he wants nothing more than to be a pugilist, a hand-to-hand martial artist. His beloved “fist king”.
If the ability to gain any skillset he wants changed his goals, then the story really should’ve made that explicit, this just feels random and totally aimless (which, honestly, not a surprise with anything isekai..)
