I don’t think I would have shown everything at the very beginning. But maybe he can skip a grade to learn more advanced skills. But since he knows the game knowledge would that even help him.

None of us expect top-hat writing here, but this screams: “This was my fantasy as a 12 years entering middle school! To be in the spotlight! Please! Love me!” so much, it’s honestly giving me goose bumps.
MC doesn’t need to hide his power, but neither should he flaunt them so pointlessly.
(If his point was to skip grades, he could’ve went about it in a MUCH more organized way. The point here is childish bravado.)
