So after killing the mayor who was lvl15 killing 2 golems lvl5&6 and killing 500 undead assassins mc is still only lvl2??? Makes sense

If it takes thousands of normal monsters to get a level up, it’s gonna take ages….
Level 4 zone but an elite is level 2 ? sure…

Maybe lowering the lvl to 0 made it give less xp?

He drank alcohol, which makes him see the monster 2 levels lower, so his attacks hit as if they are the same level. The monster itself doesnt reduce level so there is no exp. Decrease.
This monster is harder than the lvl 6 elite, because special elites are one rank higher, on this game ranks and tiers are more important than levels.
Also, neither the Mayor gave exp (he was killed by NPCs) nor the undead warriors (they where summoned for that event).
