I do not understand why he’s acting this way toward everyone. First, why doesn’t he reveal his identity to HIS DAUGHTER OR HIS BEST FRIEND, or even the duke. It doesn’t really make sense. Secondly, what kind of imperial commander would let the empire he protected for decades be wreaked ?

I just don’t get the logic of not acting in the case of the world slowly showing signs of it coming to an end, your sword path won’t matter if you and everyone else is dead. Or am I just to harsh in my opinions?
