I hate when characters be talking while there fighting, it destroys the immersion. Its like, how do you even have time to say all that mid-air?

I’m not gonna criticize mc… I’m gonna read the next chapter which will show me the exceptional reason why he chose to let himself get stabbed in the chest instead of shielding it with dragon scales the same way he did to his neck while facing a much weaker opponent.
also, there must be another excellent reason, other than a guide skill as mc knows everything about everything and everyone (lol), to keep the guide alive for a 2nd time.
ps: the Eres girl (valkirie’s monarch) asked mc to guide humanity but the guy mage said to not hesitate to kill cockroaches… I’m afraid mc’s not taken the mage’s words seriously cuz a lot of scumbags been left off the hook throughout his journey…
