Imagine you becoming an alien on your own planet.
Although, premise is: Humanity wiped out all life. Which is basically impossible. Life has permeated kilometers into the crust, aside from living in the bottom of the deep sea, acid lakes, and so on.
There are lifeforms that thrive in nuclear reactors, others can survive the harsh conditions of space, and others survive extreme heat.
The only way, … No! The only slim chance to wipe all that out is by remelting the whole planet. And the only thing that is powerful enough to do that is to crash a Mars sized planet at interplanetary speed into earth. That would be the equivalent of quadrillions upon quadrillions (long, not short scale*) of Zar bombs.
So my disbelief has a hard time being suspend already at that point.
Making magic a thing breaks it because of conservation of energy. The neither create nor destroy clause thing.
It would take a lot of energy to make magic a thing of a global scale. Think along the lines of 10 to 100 times what we use now. And now think these generators needs to be working and fed for at least 50k years without human intervention nor noticing.
In long scale a billion is a million million, while in short scale it is only a thousand million, which doesn’t make sense.
Quadrillion in short scale is 10¹⁵, in long scale it is 10²⁴

Just this one chapter alone says that his mom remade the earth to what it is in 50k years while Noah was orbiting around the solar system in cryostasis.

This is the same planet earth he lived in. His mother changed the planet and didnt want him to know.

So basically his mom recreated the earth to what it is now considering she said she would remake it and the Mc said the creatures were artificial. Or it is a different world and I got it wrong
Makes me wonder who is Noah mom and what type of intentions she has to send Noah so far away?

this would’ve been a sick twist to include LATER into the damn story
