When you can’t move forward its important to ‘hold your ground’, not stand still. Stand firm would also work.

There’s ‘big’, like the guild barmaid, and there’s ‘bloody ridiculous’, like most of the rest of them. I guess the illustrator could never come to terms with being ‘bottle fed’ as baby… either that or he’s a twelve year old with a major gigantic boob fetish…
