Not even counting being given a second chance at life through it, these systems are always shown to be absolutely life-changing. So it strikes me as odd and a bit ungrateful when characters react with hostility towards the very mechanic that turns your life around for the better. Remember that in the previous episode, he was just ooh-ing and aah-ing over having the physical increase and danger detection before going all John McClane with the fire hose.
